Awarding Scholarships
Student applicants are eligible if they either live within the Cedarburg School District and attend any high school, or live outside the district and are open-enrolled at Cedarburg High School. Applications are submitted in February each year. These scholarships support a student's continued education at colleges, universities, and vocational or technical colleges. Scholarship selection is based on many factors but weighted toward academic achievement, community service, extra-curricular activities, and personal goals.
Scholarships are presented in late May during the CCSF scholarship delivery week, when board members hand deliver them to students' homes. Funds are distributed after the student's successful completion of their first semester of study, and confirmation of second semester registration. Award recipients have up to three years from presentation of their award to claim funds.
